As a tutor, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable parts, using real-world examples to make accounting and finance feel more like problem-solving than memorization. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style—whether that means walking through practice problems together, creating visual aids, or reviewing their homework and past tests to identify patterns and gaps. A typical lesson starts with a quick review of what they’re struggling with, followed by targeted practice, concept clarification, and a summary of key takeaways. I assign light follow-up tasks to reinforce learning without overwhelming them. What sets me apart is my ability to make students feel comfortable, capable, and confident—especially those who think they "just aren’t math people." I tutor mostly college students in introductory and intermediate accounting or finance courses, particularly those in business programs who want to improve their understanding or boost their grades.
