About Mae
I've just completed A-Levels at Sir Thomas Rich's School in Gloucester, and I achieved 3A* through developing effective revision methods and techniques which I would like to share with future students through tutoring.
I have very recent experience with exams as I only just finished school and thus I can relate to students and give them firsthand advice on how to handle the exams and course content.
I know the exam boards very well and have created a number of specific topic checklists and revision guides to simplify and organise revision effectively, to prevent students feeling overwhelmed by the amount of content they need to get through.
I have experience in creating revision timetables, catered to specific individuals. My timetable really helped me stay focused, and on task which enabled me to effectively revise.

-I have done peer mentoring throughout school, which I have had great feedback from.
-Lessons aimed at 15-18 year olds GCSE/A-Level Students
-I have a few different approaches to lessons including practising past paper questions/timed conditions, active recall exercises, concise note-taking tasks, application tasks, analysis and evaluation exercises etc.
-I plan my lessons according to what works best for each individual student, and every client has input on how they prefer to learn to ensure the lessons are fun and productive.
-I took my A-Levels this year (May/June 2023) so I have very recent experience and techniques to effectively learn and revise and I am very familiar with the exam boards.
-Students can approach me with areas of the course/subject content that they are struggling with and I will cater lessons towards nailing those topics. Alternatively if students want a more broad/general overview of the course I can help them tackle the larger topics etc.
-As previously mentioned I'm happy to do the first session at half price as a taster lesson.
