I met Achintya for the first time in 2024 when we were in the same internship cohort at ICBC Standard Bank. The work both of our teams did went hand in hand, which is why I had the privilege of working alongside Achintya on a regular basis over my 3-month internship experience.

Achintya was someone I learned a lot from in the professional workspace, given how he was always so organized, was always so well-prepared, and was genuinely enthusiastic to create a positive impact with whatever work he conducted, which really inspired me and my mindset. An instance when he helped me that I’ll never forget is when an unintentional minor error from our team had caused widespread downstream impacts at the bank. I was naturally in a state of bother since I was relatively new at the firm and did not know how to deal with this situation. Achintya helped me put together a structured plan of reaching out to all affected stakeholders, and once that had been done, come up with a strategic plan to not only rectify the error but to also avoid such errors in the future - he also helped me document the entire process to increase visibility of the problem and the mitigation measures in place.

In this situation, I really admired Achintya being level-headed and calm in such a tense situation. I also really was inspired by his structured thinking, his broad knowledge of functions at the bank, and his desire to uplift overall efficiency in processes. These are lessons I carried with me in my personal and professional life.

I think Achintya’s strengths are definitely his sense of organization, his unique approach and attitude to different situations, and his willingness to help people out, which is why I think he will make an amazing superprof!

Anyone would be lucky to have Achintya as a teacher. He is extremely patient and makes learning English a joy. I could tell how much hard work he put into crafting creative and effective lessons. I would highly recommend him!

Achintya has helped me a lot with my English, especially as someone who struggles with dyslexia. I’ve always found it quite difficult finding tutors because I feel like not everyone knows how to adapt their teaching to someone with dyslexia, which has made it an insecurity of mine for a long time. With Achintya, I’ve never felt like that’s been an issue. He’s really good at adjusting and personalising the lessons to suit the way I learn and explains things in a way that actually works for me. He’s always patient and makes sure I properly understand something before moving on. Since having lessons with him, I’ve noticed a big difference not only in my English but also in my confidence, and I feel much more comfortable asking questions or getting things wrong. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a patient, understanding and adaptable tutor.
