About Luken

As a Piano tutor with 13 years of experience, I enjoy helping students unlock their musical potential and achieve their goals. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, offering lessons that are tailored to each student's needs and aspirations.

My teaching style emphasizes personalized learning, encouragement, and practical application. I believe that every student can succeed with patience, consistent practice, and the right guidance.

My lessons cover piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance preparation. I focus on developing confidence while strengthening both technical and creative skills.

Apart from Piano, I teach keyboard techniques and foundational music theory. These complementary subjects help students become more versatile musicians and improve their overall understanding of music.

My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning and continue growing as musicians. I create a supportive atmosphere where every student feels valued, motivated, and confident in their progress.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered on communication, creativity, flexibility, and student-focused learning. Every student has different strengths and learning styles, so I prepare lessons that match their abilities while keeping learning enjoyable and productive.

Students first learn posture, finger coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory before progressing to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, expressive performance, and advanced musical skills. Lessons progress step by step to build confidence naturally.

I teach through demonstrations, practical activities, and interactive discussions. Students are encouraged to understand the purpose of every exercise instead of simply memorizing songs. Regular feedback and customized practice plans help students improve consistently.

Students explore different musical styles while learning accompaniment, improvisation, and expressive playing. These creative activities help students develop confidence, listening ability, and artistic expression.

Besides piano, I teach keyboard fundamentals, rhythm training, ear training, music theory, music appreciation, sight reading, and performance preparation. These supporting subjects provide students with complete musical knowledge.

My goal is to help every student become a confident, disciplined, and creative musician who enjoys learning and performing.
