About Cilio

I am a committed Piano tutor with over 7 years of experience helping college students become confident musicians. I believe every student can succeed with personalized guidance, patience, and consistent encouragement.

My teaching style combines clear communication, practical learning, and structured lesson planning. I explain concepts in simple English and use demonstrations that make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I use innovative teaching methods including digital learning tools, ear training, rhythm practice, interactive music activities, and personalized exercises. These techniques help students develop strong musical understanding while keeping lessons engaging.

Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, musical expression, and performance skills. I provide regular progress evaluations and customized practice plans so students continue improving with confidence and enjoy every step of their piano learning journey.

About the lesson

My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable while helping students build strong technical and musical skills. I begin by understanding each student's goals and learning style so that every lesson is meaningful and effective.

Real-life examples make learning simple. I explain rhythm using everyday activities, teach theory through songs students already know, and use practical case studies to demonstrate how musical techniques are applied in real performances. This helps students connect theory with practice.

Understanding is one of the most important parts of my teaching philosophy. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and fully understand every concept before moving ahead.

Communication is friendly, respectful, and encouraging. I explain difficult topics in simple English, demonstrate techniques patiently, and provide useful feedback after every class.

Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, professionalism, and commitment. I encourage students to practice consistently and develop confidence through steady improvement.

Apart from piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation, accompaniment, chord progressions, and beginner music composition. My aim is to help students enjoy music for a lifetime.
