About Evangeline

I'm Evangeline, I'm 18, and I have tutored students ranging from Year 7 to Year 12 for the last two years. I am a firm believer that interactive learning, rather than lecturing, creates an enjoyable experience that allows students to excel. I am extremely passionate about all of the subjects I tutor and hope to inspire this in you too!

About the lesson

I am an undergraduate student at King’s College London completing a BA in Geography. When tutoring, I communicate with each student, or parent, prior to the lesson to determine which area of the subject needs to be targeted the most, to ensure the lessons are as beneficial as possible to the student. My approach is to explain key concepts, rather than lecture, and to then engage with the topic in different ways ranging from quizzes to written questions for more advanced students, as this best solidifies understanding. I have tutored multiple students at GCSE and KS3 level in Geography, French, and RS (Philosophy and Ethics), as well as at A-Level in Geography and RS. I completed A-Levels at a leading UK grammar school in Geography, RS, and French, attaining AAC (in that order). I also completed 10 GCSEs grades A*-C. I tutor students in Geography and RS from Year 7 - Year 13 (KS3, GCSE, and A-Level), and I tutor French from Year 2 - Year 11 (Year 2 - GCSE). Each lesson will range from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on what is best suited to each student.
