About Rachael
I am a passionate educator with real world experience, having taken an unconventional pathway into Education. I have lived and worked in a variety of settings in Japan over a 7 year period and am raising a bilingual family of my own. Before teaching, I was in managerial roles in the field of International Education and Study Tours from Japan and other Asian countries. I love Japan, its people and the intricate nuances of its unique culture. I love to share this knowledge as an integral part of teaching the Japanese language.

Vast experience in providing both online or face-to-face teaching, incorporating a wide variety of engaging activities and interactive learning. I am familiar with a range of platforms, games, access to videos which can assist and motivate the learner to remember new vocabulary, consolidate grammar patterns and sentence structure and gain an insight into Japanese culture. Every lesson will be like experiencing a short journey into the land of the rising sun.
