Koshy Samuel is an independent business and knowledge consultant mainly to the Oilfield Industry.
Previously he was managing operations and business support at G.E. Oil & Gas - Well Performance Services until Feb 2017. Previously, he was Global Sales, Business & Operations Manager, Saudi Arabia at Schlumberger Middle East since 1991. Mr. Samuel is also responsible for providing logistics support for well completion products. He has been employed with Schlumberger for over 24+ years and has been responsible for handling US$ 150 million worth of quotes on yearly basis and placing orders for US$ 50 million; negotiating prices with manufacturing plants worldwide and other third party companies to procure and ship oil field equipment to customers using efficient and best available strategies in supply chain management; and coordinating all technical issues and ordering equipment from around the world to meet the demand and supply of all these specialized oil field products. Mr. Samuel has over 35+ years of experience with diverse expertise in sales and procurement, business administration, tender, projects, contracts and marketing management experience in India, U.A.E., Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. He holds a BSc, MBA in Strategy and Business Management from Strathclyde University, Scotland, UK.
Mr. Samuel joined Schlumberger as an Assistant to Vice President in 1991, and held numerous assignments and positions since then. He has held several business support, sales and management positions throughout the Middle East and has travelled worldwide on business and personal trips, 35+Yrs- Strategy redefinition, transformation and design to value smarter ways forward and connecting experts, globally.
