About Kymarnii

I am a focused and analytical individual who enjoys helping others develop clarity and confidence in Maths. I have always been drawn to understanding complex problems and breaking them down into manageable steps, and I find it deeply rewarding to share this skill with students. Teaching allows me to combine my love of problem-solving with my desire to support learners in building genuine understanding, resilience, and independence. I approach tutoring with patience, structure, and attention to each student’s unique needs, aiming not only to improve grades but to foster confidence and curiosity in Maths. About the lesson

Hi, I’m Kymarnii, a KS3/GCSE Maths Tutor who takes a calm, clear, and highly structured approach to helping students make real progress — not just in their grades, but in how they think and feel about Maths. I specialise in supporting students who feel behind, lack confidence, or have lost faith in their ability — and I show them that with the right strategy and support, they can aim higher than they ever thought possible. Every student I teach is encouraged to work towards Grades 7, 8, or 9 — even if currently working far below that. I don’t just fill gaps; I build strong mathematical thinkers who understand the “why” as well as the “how.” From the very first session, I track progress through a personalised student profile, provide monthly parent updates, and follow a consistent lesson structure that balances explanation, practice, feedback, and exam readiness. The first session focuses on identifying strengths and weaknesses across all KS3/GCSE Maths topics. I’ll also walk the student through how lessons will be structured so they feel confident and prepared moving forward. Weekly Lesson Structure: • Recap Questions (3–5 based on last session/homework) • I Do – Step-by-step demonstration • We Do – Guided practice together • You Do – Independent work with support • Feedback & Clarification • Exam Practice – Past paper or exam-style questions • Homework Set + Topic Preview Every student has a personal profile sheet updated after each session, tracking their topic strengths, improvement areas, and homework. Parents receive monthly updates summarising progress, topics covered, and goals for the next month. During exam season, I assign or work through past papers to improve exam timing, mark scheme language, and written clarity. In addition to weekly tutoring, I offer: Booster Sessions (GCSE) – 1-hour topic crash courses (£25–£30) Mock Paper Marking + Feedback – Detailed analysis & estimated grade (£8–£12) Free Personalised Revision Booklet every 10 sessions (Loyalty Programme) Once a session is booked, parents will receive the following: • A Parent Policy Sheet covering payments, cancellations, safeguarding. • My Zoom Link and session details • A short Student Info Form to complete (exam board, target grade, etc.)

Kymarnii showed me how to break them down into smaller parts and highlighted keywords that tell you what method to use. We also practiced past paper questions under timed conditions, which made me feel prepared for real exams. Since working with Kymarnii, my grade has improved from a 5 to a 7, and in the last test, I finished all the questions without rushing and actually felt proud of my answers.
