My focus is on the skills that actually make a difference in exams - understanding texts, structuring strong answers, and knowing exactly what examiners are looking for. I break things down step by step so students don’t feel overwhelmed and can see real progress.
Lessons are tailored to each student, with plenty of practice, feedback, and support along the way. We’ll work through exam-style questions, improve writing techniques, and build confidence so they feel more prepared going into assessments.

I’m Sheirani, a KS3 and GCSE English Language and Literature tutor with over 10 years of experience helping students improve their grades and confidence.
My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student. I identify strengths and gaps, then create a clear plan focused on exam success. I teach students how to analyse texts, structure strong answers, and meet assessment objectives - not just what to write, but how to write it effectively for top marks.
In lessons, I use:
- Guided practice with model answers
- Targeted feedback and live corrections
- Past paper and exam-style questions
- Clear techniques to improve analysis and essay writing
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and designed to be engaging, focused, and results-driven.
I work with KS3 and GCSE students of all abilities, from those needing to pass to those aiming for top grades, and I place a strong focus on building confidence alongside skills.
My goal is to help students achieve better results while becoming more independent and confident in English.
