I'm Lachlan, a Physics undergraduate at the University of Oxford. I tutor maths and physics for KS3, GCSE, A level as well as university admissions tests.

About Lachlan
I wasn't always great at maths, I was in lower sets when I started secondary school and had to work my way up to top set, ultimately achieving 9s in maths and further maths and the sciences at GCSE.
At A level, I achieved A*A*AA in maths, computer science, physics and further respectively, so I know how to achieve the A level top grades. This allowed me to study at the University of Oxford, after passing the PAT entrance examination. I can help your child get through the university entrance exams and can also offer interview advice and practice.

My lessons can be flexible to fit around you and your child's needs. Typically they will be an hour weekly session but this can be altered to what fits their schedule.
I would focus on explaining concepts in an intuitive way that makes it easy for them to understand rather than getting them to memorise a textbook.
Each lesson we would work through practice questions together, either questions they have brought in as they have struggled with them in independent work or questions I have prepared based on areas I have noticed need improvement.
I am open to working with students of any age and skill and will always take time to explain things they are struggling with to ensure they have a good foundation in the subject I'm tutoring them in.
