About Lizahn
I was a student that did well in school, although I did not always enjoy it. I was also quite shy and not always willing to ask questions in class, so I would like to help students when they feel like they cannot get help elsewhere. I have a BSc. in Environmental Management, but am currently working in the hospitality industry. I have always loved tutoring and helping students, so I would like to carry on doing so.

I am an experienced Afrikaans and English tutor. I have tutored students Grades 1-10. I am fully bilingual so I will be able to explain something in English if I am tutoring Afrikaans as a second- or third additional language. I am very patient and will try my best to explain things differently if a student does not understand. I like using existing study material and build onto it so as not to confuse students, but I will be able to help make study notes and excercises where necessary. I am good at working out why a student is struggling with a certain concept without them needing to explain to me that they are struggling.
