About Chanel
It took 23 years before discovering my autistic identity, so I didn't receive support during my education. My diagnosis gave me a passion to provide support and understanding to other neurodivergents who feel unsupported or misunderstood in their personal or academic lives.
My formal degrees are limited to an Associate in Liberal Arts, though I engage in extensive self-education in interdisciplinary studies and plan to pursue a BA.
I have experience tutoring my peers in Latin and Physics I.

My diagnosis gave me a passion to provide support and understanding to other neurodivergents who feel unsupported or misunderstood in their personal or academic lives.
Autistic and other neurodivergent brains learn differently, and differently from one another--I work with the individual to help them understand the material in the way that their brain will receive it.
My tutoring style is colored by hyperempathy, balanced with a strong opposition to toxic positivity and inauthentic niceties. I believe people are too often told to listen when they need to be heard.
