About Patrick
Hi, I'm Patrick :) If you're looking for some extra support in your preparations to take the Leaving Cert or Junior Cert French exams, I'm here to give a helping hand. After attaining a H1 in Leaving Cert French, I went on to study Law and French in UCC. During my studies, I lived for a year in France, gaining an even stronger grasp on the language in the process. Since then, I've developed my skills as an educator through time spent as an English language teacher, while also giving Leaving Cert French grinds online. I'd love to share my passion for the French language with you!

I pursue an interactive, student-focused teaching style based on empathy and patience. I form positive relationships with students through mutual respect and understanding. Focus can be dedicated to whatever aspect of your French language competence is in need of the most attention, or the aspect of the exam(s) that you find most challenging. Alternatively, we can undertake a more general run-through of the relevant exam papers, practicing each section with accompanying guidance and feedback. Typical lesson duration is one hour, open to longer lessons (90 mins recommended maximum).
