About Tanika
I grew up in South Africa where, contrary to popular belief, English was my home language. I have always had a passion for language, poetry and writing. During secondary school, I had a few articles published in various newspapers - this is one of my favourite achievements
During my time in university, first in the Netherlands and then in London, I was a student editor for an administrative law journal. Here, I was able to thrive, particularly in proofreading.
I have been working as a legal assistant and am currently between jobs. I would love to use this time to share my passion for and skills in the English language with others.

I am happy and able to give lessons to those of all ages. I have a disntiction English as well as in Advanced Placement English. I, therefore, feel capable to assist those in secondary school.
For those in primary school, I am an avid reader and will make reading enjoyable. I am extremely patient and have grown up with a brother with severe dyslexia who I have assisted with English for many years.
I am flexible as to what kind of lessons you require and can provide homework and mock tests if extra work is required. I am also flexible as to the length of the lessons.
