About Sarmila
I am a Lawyer with over six years of teaching experience. While I pursued a career in law, teaching has always remained one of my greatest passions.
I enjoy working with young people because I believe that the right guidance during their early years can shape not only their academic performance but also their confidence, discipline and approach to learning.
What drives me as a tutor is not just academic improvement it’s watching my students grow into disciplined, confident, and curious individuals. I strongly believe that having a solid academic foundation from a young age builds the mindset and habits needed for life, not just exams. I love seeing my students not only improve in their grades but also develop the consistency and responsibility that will serve them well into adulthood.

With over six years of teaching experience, I support students in building strong academic foundations, improving their confidence and developing effective learning habits.
My lessons go beyond memorisation. I help students:
• Strengthen their language and vocabulary
• Understand concepts before attempting questions
• Develop logical and critical-thinking skills
• Improve their writing and answer structure
• Practise higher-order thinking questions
• Build consistent study habits
• Become more confident and independent learners
I teach primary and secondary school students following the Malaysian national and IGCSE syllabuses. My subjects include Bahasa Melayu, English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography and Biology.
I also teach Malaysian law subjects to pre-university and diploma students, helping them understand legal principles, analyse cases and structure their answers clearly.
