About Debargha
I am a 2nd year law student at Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar and currently based out of Guwahati, Assam. I am also a social entrepreneur and founder of Project Saathi ((concealed information) non profit based out of Assam which works in the field of education. I write for the Outlook India, Student Delhi Law Review and other renowned journals.
I have been mentoring students for more than two years especially in humanities for exploring various career options. Since I am from the same generation, I tend to connect with folks faster and better that helps in effective learning. Above and beyond tutoring for boards, my students get help in deciding the right careers, taking decisions regarding college choices and some help in applying to various colleges as an added benefit. Teaching and mentoring younger folks in my hobby which I am very passionate about.

I adopt a structured format for my classes. I share a lesson plan a week before stating all the topics that I intend to cover. I use presentations and short hand notes during explanation of the lessons. I typically engage in conversational mode wherein the student(s) interact with me along their way in the class hours. We end with a small reflection of what we understood and why it is relevant to study.
We discuss classwork if any and keep the last 10 minutes for a friendly conversation that often helps me understand the student's psychology better and deliver more effective classes.
Sometimes I use online quiz apps and self made games to revise concepts and chapters that my past students have found to be very engaging.
I also design a period assessment chart with the student discussing the progress of the syllabus and way ahead which helps us both plan the journey better in a more organised fashion.

Details
The pay is negotiable based on the requirements of the students. I usually provide ready made short hand notes along with my lecture. And discussion sessions held after every 3 chapters is free of cost.
As a social entrepreneur, I usually donate a part of my fees to NGOs working in the field of gender and education.
