About Thanjila
I am student from the University of Birmingham working towards my law degree. I have worked with several schools across the country to deliver 60+ stimulating lessons to students in order to help them unlock their potential. My students have demonstrated a notable confidence in their writing, reading and analytical skills which has ultimately benefitted their grades.

I provide lessons to students ranging from KS2 to A-levels, helping them with exam practice by learning the ins and outs of the marking criteria, as well as guidance on building upon fundamental English skills. My lessons are based around the key skill of critical thinking and being able to dissect a piece of text for its implicit meaning and making unique and perceptive inferences. As a tutor, I value being able to have engaging, enjoyable and thought provoking conversations with my students, so I work on building up on their confidence and reminding them that the beauty of English is that it is an art and is only what you interpret it as!
