About Dickson

I am a passionate and patient acoustic guitar tutor dedicated to helping students discover the joy and confidence that comes with playing guitar. With over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience, I have developed a simple and practical approach that makes guitar learning easy to understand, especially for beginners.

I believe anyone can learn to play guitar with the right guidance, consistent practice, and a supportive teacher. My goal is not just to teach you chords and techniques, but to help you understand what you are playing and enjoy every step of your progress.

Whether you are starting from zero, struggling to change chords, or simply want to learn how to play your favorite songs, I will guide you step by step at a comfortable pace. My lessons are friendly, practical, encouraging, and focused on helping you achieve real results.

If you are ready to start your acoustic guitar journey, I would be happy to help you take that first step and become a confident player.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching acoustic guitar is simple, practical, patient, and beginner-friendly. I break every skill into small, easy-to-understand steps and demonstrate each technique clearly before allowing the student to practise. I focus on practical playing rather than overwhelming students with too much theory, while gradually introducing the necessary musical concepts.

My lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's level, goals, and learning pace. Each lesson includes demonstration, guided practice, corrections, and exercises to help the student improve between lessons.

I have over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience and have taught students in different learning environments. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help students see measurable progress from lesson to lesson.

My lessons are primarily designed for beginners and early-level players of different ages. Whether you have never held a guitar before or you know a few chords but struggle to play confidently, I will adapt the lessons to your current level and help you develop the skills needed to play songs comfortably and confidently.
