About Souhail
I’m Souhail Akayour, a certified English and Arabic teacher and professional translator with a BA in English linguistics and an MA in (Arabic - English - French) translation. I’ve been teaching Arabic since 2022, English since 2020 and translating since 2018. I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and communicate effectively both in English and Arabic.

As a tutor, my approach is interactive, personalized, and goal-oriented. I combine my academic background in Arabic & English linguistics and English - Arabic - English translation with real classroom experience to create lessons that are both structured and flexible.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
I use a communicative and learner-centered approach, encouraging active participation through real-life tasks, role plays, and guided conversations. I integrate grammar and vocabulary in context, and often use visuals, short videos, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and memorable. I also tailor my materials to meet each learner’s specific needs and learning style.
A Typical Lesson Plan Includes:
1. A brief warm-up to review or introduce vocabulary
2. A targeted grammar (in context) or communication point
3. Practice activities (speaking, listening, or writing)
4. Free practice activities (where the students get to produce the learned language themselves)
