About Baetty
I'm a native Indonesian speaker based in the UK with experience teaching both Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at university level.
I have worked with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, helping them build confidence in communication, academic study, and intercultural understanding.
Whether you're learning Indonesian for travel, work, family connections, study, or personal interest, I create lessons that are engaging, practical, and tailored to your goals.

As a native Indonesian speaker and experienced language educator teaching both Bahasa Indonesia for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) and English for Academic Purposes (EAP), I understand the challenges of learning a new language and how to make the process enjoyable and effective.
Lessons focus on practical communication while developing all four skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I use authentic materials, interactive activities, and cultural insights to help learners build confidence and use Indonesian in real-life situations.
