About Vatsalya
Hi! I’m Vatsalya — an illustrator based in London with over five years of experience in art and design. I work across both traditional and digital media and love helping people discover their own creative voice. Whether you’re a complete beginner picking up a pencil for the first time or someone looking to level up your digital drawing skills, I’ll guide you step-by-step in a calm and encouraging way. I’ve taught a range of students — from young learners exploring creativity to adults looking to reconnect with art as a form of expression and relaxation. My sessions are always flexible and personalised, designed around what you want to achieve.

Each lesson is built around your goals — whether that’s learning the basics of drawing, improving your digital illustration skills, or exploring creativity for relaxation and confidence. I start by understanding what you’d like to achieve, then we build a plan together that fits your level and pace. Lessons are relaxed and interactive, with practical exercises and visual demonstrations to help you learn through doing, not just watching. You’ll learn: How to see and draw like an artist (composition, form, perspective) Techniques for shading, colour harmony, and texture How to use Procreate or Adobe tools for digital art Creative projects that reflect your interests (portraits, characters, fashion, or abstract work) After each session, I give short feedback and simple practice tasks you can try on your own to keep improving. All materials are adaptable — you can work with pencil and paper, or a tablet if you prefer digital. My main goal is to make art enjoyable, expressive, and personal for you — so every lesson feels inspiring and stress-free.
