About Selma
Hi! My name is Selma and I’m an English tutor from the U.S. with a deep love for language, logic, and meaningful conversation. I’m currently working toward a degree in English and have experience helping others improve their grammar, speaking skills, writing, and overall confidence with the language. I’m patient, calm, and practical in my approach—my goal is to make you feel understood and supported as you learn at your own pace. I also love diving into interesting topics, so whether you enjoy discussing stories, everyday life, or more advanced ideas, I’ll adapt the lesson to what engages you. I believe learning works best when it feels natural and grounded in real connection. Let’s make English feel less intimidating and more like something you can truly enjoy mastering.

My lessons are fully customized to your goals—whether you’re looking to improve conversational fluency, grammar, writing, pronunciation, or just feel more confident in everyday English. I adapt each session to match your pace, interests, and learning style, so you’re never overwhelmed or bored. We can keep things casual and conversational, or focus on more structured skills like essay writing or exam preparation. I’ll guide you through everything with patience and clarity, making sure you understand not just what to say, but why it works. I also give gentle corrections and helpful explanations so you can grow steadily and naturally. All levels are welcome—from beginners to advanced learners. The focus is on making progress that sticks, in a space where you can feel comfortable asking questions and being yourself.
