About Phronesis

Hey! I’m Phronesis — a matric student who’s really passionate about English and helping others do better in it. I know what it’s like to struggle with grammar, essays, or speaking confidently, so I’m here to make things easier for you. I’m super patient and explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I work best with high school students (Grade 7 to 12), whether you're trying to pass, get top marks, or just understand your work better. What makes me different? I’m still in school too, so I get it. I know how to explain things in a way that makes sense for students right now — not boring textbook stuff, but real help that works. About the lesson

As a passionate, high-achieving matric student, I understand what it's like to learn English from the ground up – and I use that to make my lessons relatable, effective, and student-focused. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and flexible. I believe in meeting students where they are, building confidence first, and then pushing for progress through consistent practice.

I explain concepts in simple terms that actually stick. Whether you’re struggling with grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing essays, or exam prep, I break things down step-by-step using real-life examples, visuals, and active recall techniques.

A typical lesson with me is interactive and practical – we’ll go over core concepts, apply them through exercises, and reflect on your progress. I also give tips to improve outside of lessons so you can grow faster on your own.
