About Anthony
I am the author of Don't Just Sit There . . . Meditate by Tony Palmieri, which is available through Amazon. I am also a working screenwriter, and my current project is an orginal feature screenplay - High Flying Fugitives, which is about two young marijuana dispensary owners, who flee relentless drug enforcement agents who believe they are smugglers and spies, by escaping to that unlikely pot paradise - North Korea! I'm also a musician, so that seeps into my teaching style. I should also tell you unlike many English teachers, I don't give a fig about spelling, grammar, and punctuation, unless you are a college student. English fluency comes from relaxed expression, not worry over SGP, and SGP improves naturally, as yours will, with practice and repetition. I have given professional seminars in the Los Angeles School District and at National Education Conferences, focusing on what we call the Natural Approach to English Fluency.

I have had great success with all ages and ability levels, showing video clips, pausing the video, and then discussing what we just saw. Anything you say you can write, so this discussion leads us to focused writing, and the writing will need to be good since we might share with other students in the session, or with your friendly tutor. Rather than a sterile classroom environment, we re-create the living room couch, free of any stress, and learning a language actually becomes a joy.
