About Yvonne
I am a passionate French tutor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Master of Arts in French Linguistics. My background in linguistics helps me explain pronunciation, grammar, and sentence structure in a clear and simple way. I believe that learning French should feel natural and enjoyable, not stressful.
My lessons focus strongly on immersive conversational practice. From the beginning, I encourage students to speak confidently through guided dialogues, role-plays, and real-life situations. I also help learners become familiar with different French accents so they can understand speakers from various regions. Accent clarity and pronunciation are key parts of my training.
Travel-based learning is one of my favorite methods. I design lessons around real travel scenarios such as ordering food, asking for directions, booking hotels, and interacting with locals. This makes learning practical and useful for real-world experiences.
I also integrate French culture, cinema, music, and cuisine into my sessions. Exploring films, cultural traditions, and famous dishes helps students connect emotionally with the language. Learning becomes more than memorizing words; it becomes experiencing a culture.

My teaching approach in French is practical, structured, and focused on real communication. I begin by building a strong base in pronunciation, grammar, and essential vocabulary. Clear explanations and simple examples help students understand sentence structure and verb conjugation with confidence.
I place special focus on conversational fluency through role-plays, daily dialogues, and real-life situations.
