About Safaa

Hello all, my name is Safaa and I am a student with many interests and passions. I am really passionate about outdoor activities such as horse riding and running, I am also very crafty and resourceful. I enjoy good conversations and alone reading times. I have recently discovered that learning my lessons by teaching someone else was really something I enjoyed doing as it was really helpful and enriching! I started volunteering in some schools for some of the younger years then with some slightly older students in my social institution. I am very friendly and always try my best to make lessons as enjoyable as possible because I can put myself in the students' shoes, and notice when the student doesn't understand or simply doesn't enjoy the way we are tackling a certain topic. As such, I will try to employ a different teaching technique that they enjoy and therefore will help them like and understand what they are learning. Finally, I like to maintain a friendly and professional relationship but also trustworthy specifically when it comes to setting homework tasks and their complete and total completion (of course I understand that they may not always have the time, however I simply ask that they try their best). About the lesson

My techniques & teaching methodologies: - the teaching methods I employ differ depending on what I am actually teaching meaning that if I am teaching reading skills I set out texts with a difficulty level adapted to my student, they would read it then answer questions about it, for listening is about the same concept but with an audio to which they would then have to answer questions to test their understanding. For writing as it is more of an adaptation skill I would focus more on grammar & sentence structure, and most of the time a good mastery of this forms over time with a lot of oral practice. Typical length of a lesson: - the length would be between 1 hour to 1 hour and a half. I of course wouldn't mind adding any extensions to the lesson if needed. My experience/qualifications as a tutor: - I work with students on a regular basis as I volunteer within my institution for lessons such as maths, and Spanish, and separately in a primary school weekly where I help with reading and other essential skills. I have a qualified French national diploma called "brevet" which is equal to a French A-Level and above as it is an exam that's only taken by students aged from 14-16 years old living in France (could be taken as a free candidate). I also recently acquired a French GCSE with a grade 9. Additionally, I am also passing my French A-Levels self-taught alongside my other subjects. Who my lessons are aimed at: - I teach students with a level of A1 (beginner), followed with the levels A2; B1; B2; C1; to a level C2 (proficiency)
