About Jose

Hey! Came across Breakin' in person around the age of 18, did my own research and taught myself. Fast forward 15+ years, I have traveled the world performing and winning competitions. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with companies like Redbull NA, EDC Las Vegas, Monster Energy and been featured in music videos with artists like Martin Garrix and Afrojack -

I've dedicated over a decade building my name internationally in different communities. I truly care about this dance and its culture, so I'll make sure to not only teach you, but share knowledge I have gathered over the years to fully immerse you in the beautiful dance we call Breakin'. I've always enjoyed the competitive aspect of dance for the most part of my career, and still do, but now I'm finding fulfilment through teaching and helping people find themselves, their confidence and overall improvement.

About the lesson

Firstly we'll gauge your goals and I'll cater the lesson plans to meet your needs.
Everyone learns differently, thankfully through various students I've taught and workshops I have participated in over the years, I've experienced what may help an individual better learn and retain material during and after lessons. On a case by case basis I'll assign 'Practice' material for you to get the most out of our sessions.

A typical lesson will include warm ups, review, workouts and the material itself. Followed by check ins, and possible video reviews outside of the lesson itself.
