About Lea

I’ve always been someone who enjoys helping others. Whether it is explaining something that initially seems complicated, finding a different way to approach a problem or simply encouraging someone when they are struggling, I genuinely enjoy supporting people in their learning.

What makes me especially happy is seeing someone have that moment where something finally “clicks”. I love seeing the little success stories, when a student suddenly understands something they were struggling with before, becomes more confident or realizes that they can actually do something they thought was difficult. Those moments are incredibly rewarding for me.

I would describe myself as patient, reliable and positive. I don’t get discouraged easily when something doesn’t work straight away. Instead, I like to try a different approach and keep going until we find a way that works. I believe that learning should be challenging enough to be rewarding, but also enjoyable enough that you look forward to it.

About the lesson

Hi there, I’m Lea, a native German speaker from Germany who is currently living in New Zealand and studying Business Administration.

I have been tutoring students for around 8 years in a variety of subjects, including German, Latin, old Greek, Physics and Maths.

I’d love to use my native German skills to help students improve their German in a way that feels easy, engaging and enjoyable. Whether you’re just starting to learn German, need help with school, want to improve your grammar and vocabulary or simply want to become more confident speaking German, I’m happy to help.

For me, learning a language shouldn’t just be about memorising vocabulary and grammar rules. I want to create a comfortable and welcoming environment where students feel at ease. My lessons are not only about learning and making progress, but also about having a good time together and making the learning process enjoyable.

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and helping you feel more confident in German!
