About Emilie
I am a first-year university student studying linguistics, which involves learning how language works, and I have found this to be beneficial to my teaching! I have worked as a tutor for three years, and a babysitter for many more. I've done work placements in schools and I was an Au-pair in Germany during my gap year, where I worked with children aged 2, 6 and 8. Here my work included teaching them English! This was such a lovely experience, not just valuable to my personal dream of becoming a teacher, but I got to live and make a difference every day with them. Although I am only 20, I believe this is a benefit to my teaching. I have recently gone through the school system and I understand the nuances of the mark schemes and what examiners look for. One of my biggest achievements was getting 100% in my English literature GCSE.

I have experience with teaching and learning the material for German exams up to and including A-level and also for outside of school qualifications.
