About Raghuraj
I've been playing guitar since 9 years and been professionally performing and tutoring since 5 years. I started off with rock and metal music slowly transitioning into blues, indie and jazz. Hence, I can teach you diversified forms of playing the guitar. I've performed individually and in various different projects in Delhi, Gurgaon and Ludhiana.

There's a particular journey that every individual takes to learn and practice music. I'll simply be the guide for beginners or advanced level players to teach them techniques and methods of playing that they're unfamiliar with. Although I'll be using different methods to teach a beginner or intermediate level player, the common element in both the methods would be the theoretical and practical elements of music. The aim is to provide conceptual and practical knowledge to the student.
In the past I've had quite a few students who are least bothered about the theory and are just interested in playing the guitar. However, I find it extremely important that alongside the practical use of the instrument, it was very crucial for the student to understand the functioning of the instrument as well.
I'll be dwelling into techniques such as alternative picking, sweep picking, tapping, bending, legato, etc. for beginners to get a hold of how to go about playing solos over any piece of music that's being played. I'll also be teaching the CAGED system on the guitar which would allow the player to play any chord across the fretboard in different shapes and tones.
Through such techniques and understanding of the guitar, the student can start playing hundreds of songs within a few weeks. There is quite a lot to teach ranging from inversions, pentatonic scales, to musical concepts such as Circles of 5ths which give the understanding of the music theory and the instrument itself allowing the player to play across the entire fretboard.
The musical styles that I'll be teaching will vary across a variety of genres such as rock, blues, jazz, bollywood, funk, pop, metal, etc.
