About Gray
The joy of performing music is something I aim to share with every student I teach. Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I combine academic knowledge, performance experience, and teaching expertise in every lesson. I start with fundamental techniques such as posture, finger placement, chord transitions, strumming, rhythm, and tone, gradually moving to improvisation, phrasing, and composition. Music theory is incorporated practically, making it easy for students to understand and apply concepts to real music. Lessons are customized to the student’s pace, goals, and style, fostering confidence and engagement. I emphasize technical skill alongside expressive playing to help students communicate emotion and artistry. Ear training, sight-reading, and performance exercises are included to develop well-rounded musicianship. Students explore genres including classical, jazz, rock, blues, and pop to expand their musical versatility. I provide structured practice routines, feedback, and strategies to overcome challenges effectively. Milestones are celebrated to encourage perseverance and motivation. Creativity, improvisation, and composition are encouraged to develop a unique musical voice. Lessons balance structure, discipline, and artistic freedom for an engaging learning experience. Over time, students gain technical proficiency, performance confidence, and expressive artistry. Teaching guitar is more than instruction—it is mentorship, inspiration, and guidance. My ultimate goal is to help students play creatively, authentically, and confidently. Every lesson is an opportunity to cultivate artistry, skill, and lifelong passion for music.

Music teaching is my way of sharing the joy and freedom that the guitar has brought into my life. With Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music, I bring 8 years of experience as both a performer and educator. My lessons combine professional techniques with a relaxed, encouraging style. I emphasize foundational skills—chord transitions, rhythm, and tone—while nurturing creativity and exploration. I make sure theory is integrated seamlessly so students understand the logic behind their playing. My approach focuses on both technical skill and emotional depth.
Each session includes hands-on practice, creative exercises, and reflection. I also provide personalized feedback and practice strategies for faster progress. I’ve taught students who started as beginners and went on to perform confidently or compose their own music. I believe in teaching music that moves you, inspires you, and challenges you to grow. For me, every student’s journey is unique—and my role is to guide, motivate, and celebrate each milestone.
