About Hila
I am a native Hebrew speaker with over five years of experience teaching Hebrew in both private and group settings. I currently teach at Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE) and previously taught at Kane Street Synagogue. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where each lesson is tailored to the student’s goals. My approach focuses on building confidence, developing practical language skills, and making Hebrew feel natural and accessible for every learner.

Hi! I’m Hila, a native Hebrew speaker with over 5 years of experience teaching Hebrew in both private lessons and group settings. I currently teach at Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE) and previously taught at Kane Street Synagogue. I’ve worked with students of different ages and levels, and I specialize in helping beginners and intermediate learners feel confident using Hebrew in real-life situations.
My teaching style is personalized, supportive, and engaging. I adapt each lesson to your goals—whether you want to improve your speaking, reading, or overall fluency. I use a combination of conversation practice, real-life scenarios, and creative materials (including music) to make learning natural and enjoyable.
