What Will You Learn?
Over the course of four days, you’ll acquire the skills and knowledge needed to construct your very own basic cabinets. Here’s an overview of what you can expect:

Circular Saw proper usage
Break down sheet goods to size
Cut square panels
How to size panels for desired cabinet outcome size
How to build basic boxes for maximum strength, 3 planar dimensions of strength
How to size cabinet doors
How to position cabinet hinge
How to attach cabinet hinge to doors
How to attach door knobs
How to hang doors
How to fit cabinet legs
Day 2 – Build a cabinet with drawers
Circular Saw Practice
Breaking Down bigger sheet, more panels
Sizes of standard drawer hardware
How to size cabinets for drawers
How to size drawer boxes according to cabinet
How to assemble drawers
How to attach drawer slides
How to hang drawers
How to size drawer faces
How to attach drawer faces
Day 3 & Day 4 – Build an improved cabinet, your way!
How to size cabinets for overhangs
How to assemble complex cabinets, order of construction
How to create backing slots with Circ Saw
How to Size Double doors
How to hide fasteners for cabinet tops
Brackets, Dowels, Pockets
How to attach adjustable cabinet legs
How to create skirting and toe kicks
How to assemble detachable skirting
How to cut mitered edges
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Participants are expected to commit to all 4 sessions on the dates stated above
If absent, no replacements class shall be awarded
Participants must attend classes in sequential order. For example, participants are not allowed to attend Day 2, if they have not completed Day 1

We provide all the necessary materials and tools required for the class. No need to invest in expensive equipment – you can explore your passion without the commitment.
