Learn Electronic Music Production:
Are you eager to create your own beats and tunes? Do you already produce but need some help to take your tracks to the next level? I would love to help you unlock your full potential in electronic music.
Genres:
Personally, I specialize in the harder genres such as Drum & Bass, but I can help you create whatever genre of music you want.
I am able to apply the same principles to other genres such as:
- 140 / Dubstep / Grime
- Minimal / Tech / Deep / Bass / Progressive / Funky House
- Jungle / Breaks / Breakbeat / UK Bass
- Trance / Psy-Trance
- Techno
- Hip Hop / Trap / Wave
- UK Garage / Bassline
Software Expertise:
My preferred software is Ableton Live, but I am familiar with all common DAWs.
I strongly recommend using Ableton Live; you can get a 30-day free trial.
I also have experience using the following Software:
- Logic
- FL Studio
- Reaper
I'll guide you through the ins and outs of these powerful tools, helping you unleash your creativity and produce professional-quality tracks.
Methodology:
I'll start by understanding what genres you're interested in making, which artists you like, and what software you use. If we're a good fit for each other, I'll provide the first lesson free and will tailor this and future lessons to your requirements and help you achieve the sound you're looking for.
With my guidance, you'll dive into the fundamentals of electronic music production, covering the full spectrum of creating a track from scratch:
- Finding sounds
- Drum building, layering, and processing
- Sound design and synthesis
- Arrangement
- Mixing
- Mastering
My hands-on approach and personalized feedback will help you develop your unique sound and style.
I don't cover music theory, but I don't believe this is a requirement to make good music.
Industry Advice:
I can offer industry advice to help you approach labels, artists, and get your music signed. I can also advise on the best places to find unique sounds and samples, helping you take your music to the next level and stand out from the crowd.
Online Lessons:
Lessons are conducted online via Google Meet or Zoom, offering you the convenience of learning from the comfort of your own space. All you'll need equipment-wise is:
- Computer with internet connection
- A Gmail account (for accessing Meet)
- A working microphone (this can be your built-in laptop mic)
- A camera (preferred but not essential, again can be your built-in laptop camera)
Lesson Length:
Each session is one hour long; however, I offer packages if you need more time.
Level:
My lessons are suited towards beginners and intermediate producers.
