About Lauren
Over the last 8 years, I have garnered experience writing music and lyrics in several genres, including but not limited to: Jazz, R&B, Commercial and Experimental Pop, Rock, HipHop, Bluegrass, and Instrumental / Classical Arrangements. I am a current music production major at Ball State University who has written over 100 songs.

Normally, songwriting instruction is posed as a sort of business model, where the end goal is to write a song that is profitable or pitchable to record labels. I want to give you the opportunity to view songwriting as a creative process completely detached from monetary value. My goal is to create a space for anyone who is interested in songwriting to be encouraged to make the music that you want to make, and provide you with the resources and expertise to make that happen.
