About Aurora

Ciao! I'm Aurora and I'm a singer-songwriter, pianist inspired by music in all its forms. I'm Italian and I'm based in Birmingham! I grew up in Italy and absolutely love everything there from the culture to the food. As a music teacher, I think learning a language through music, could be very helpful so I started to teach Italian offering to many students the chance to learn such a beautiful language! I am a passionate teacher and I create personal programmes for each student focussing on areas which will benefit them the most. I am a confident teacher, but also approachable and open to conversation with students. I want to create an environment where no question feels too basic to ask, and no one fears making a mistake.

About the lesson

As your private tutor, I want to take a moment to share with you my personal approach to tutoring and why I believe it can make a difference in your academic journey. First and foremost, I am committed to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment. I understand that each of you has unique strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. By tailoring my teaching methods to match your individual needs, I aim to empower you to reach your full potential and excel in your studies. Moreover, I believe in the power of building a strong student-tutor relationship. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, expressing your concerns, and sharing your goals. By establishing open lines of communication, I can better understand your specific challenges and provide personalised guidance that addresses your academic needs. I also believe in the importance of fostering a growth mindset. I want to instil in you the belief that intelligence and abilities can be developed through dedication and effort. Together, we will work on setting realistic goals, breaking them down into manageable steps, and celebrating your progress along the way. Furthermore, I am dedicated to making learning engaging and enjoyable. Education should not be a burden, but rather an exciting journey of discovery. I will incorporate interactive and creative teaching methods to make our sessions dynamic and fun, sparking your curiosity and motivating you to explore new concepts. Finally, I am committed to your long-term success beyond just the subject matter. I want to equip you with essential study skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving techniques that will serve you well in all areas of your education and future endeavours. In summary, my personal approach to private tutoring is rooted in individualised instruction, strong relationships, growth mindset, engaging learning experiences, and holistic student development. I am here to support you every step of the way, and I truly believe that together we can unlock your full potential.

Being completely new to music, and in my late 40s trying something new can be a bit scary. Aurora made me feel comfortable from the first lesson, and her patience and knowledge make the lessons a great success. She is reliable, dependable and professional.

I was looking for a singer for the song I had written and hadn't found anyone in months when I met Aurora through chance. I asked her if she would be interested and she immediately agreed, which was one of the best things that could happen.

Not only is she an amazing singer, but she is pro-active as well, always trying to find ways to make it sound better. She is very hard-working and takes her job seriously to achieve the best. Aurora shows her ambition by not stopping before she knows she ras reached the best she can do (and her best is very high-standard and high quality)!

I really enjoyed working with Aurora and can only recommend her to everyone who's looking for a beautiful, deep and warm voice to enhance their music!
