About Rohan

Hello! I’m Rohan, an Italian language and literature postgraduate with a strong academic background in Italian studies and a genuine passion for teaching the language.

I believe that learning a new language should be an enjoyable and practical experience. My aim is not only to teach Italian grammar and vocabulary, but also to help my students understand how Italian is actually used in everyday communication.

I offer structured and personalized lessons based on each student's level, learning goals, and individual pace. Whether you are a complete beginner, a university student, a working professional, or an advanced learner looking to improve your fluency, I will adapt the lessons to your needs.

As a postgraduate student of Italian Language and Literature, I have developed a strong understanding of Italian grammar, language, literature, and culture. I bring this academic knowledge into my teaching while keeping my lessons simple, interactive, and easy to follow.

I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment. I encourage students to ask questions, practice speaking, and learn from their mistakes without hesitation.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Italian is practical, interactive, and personalized according to each student's level, goals, and learning pace. As an Italian language and literature postgraduate, I combine a strong foundation in grammar with conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing activities.

Each lesson usually begins with a short review of the previous class, followed by the introduction of a new topic or language concept. I then explain the topic with clear examples and give students guided exercises to practise it. A significant part of the lesson is dedicated to speaking and conversation so that students can gradually become more confident using Italian in real-life situations. I also provide corrections and constructive feedback throughout the class.

My teaching style focuses on making Italian easy to understand rather than simply asking students to memorize rules. I can explain difficult grammatical concepts in a simple way and use English or Bengali when necessary to clarify complex points. I also adapt lessons to the student's specific objectives, whether they want to learn Italian from the beginning, improve their communication skills, prepare for examinations, study at university, travel to Italy, or develop Italian for professional purposes.

My classes are suitable for school and college students, university students, working professionals, adults, and anyone interested in learning Italian. I welcome both complete beginners and intermediate or advanced learners. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students can make mistakes, learn from them, and progressively develop confidence and fluency in Italian.
