About Kazune

Hello! I’m Kazune, a native Japanese speaker born and raised in Tokyo.
I offer friendly, personalized Japanese lessons, especially for complete beginners to those who want to work in Japan.
Whether you’re starting Japanese from scratch, want to speak more naturally, or need Japanese for your future career in Japan, I’m here to support you!

＊About Me
I am a good listener and open-minded, so you can feel relaxed and comfortable during our lessons! I am also a language learner, so I understand how hard it is to learn by yourself.
I have experience supporting Australian and French students, and have had experience as a conversation volunteer at a Japanese language school.

＊︎ In a trial lesson, feel free to tell me your goals, concerns, and interests. Let’s learn together at your own pace, step by step :))

About the lesson

＊My lesson is flexible and tailored to your interests and goals. Lesson notes will be shared after each lesson for your review!

For example…
*︎Beginners
・Hiragana & Katakana
・Basic grammar
・Daily conversation practice
・Natural expressions
・Lots of speaking practice (any topic is welcome!)
→ You will be able to have simple conversations!

*︎Intermediate to advanced learners / Those who want to work in Japan
・Business Japanese practice
(greetings, polite language, customer service, conversations with bosses and colleagues, discussions, etc.)
・Interview practice, resume/CV, and email writing support
→ You will be well-prepared to work in Japan and gain confidence speaking in the workplace!
I can also share insights into Japanese workplace culture, business cultures, manners, and communication styles.

Making mistakes is a natural part of learning a language. My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable space where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and speak Japanese without pressure.
I’m looking forward to seeing you in our lesson!

Perfect! Describing learning Japanese with Kazune Sensei can only be described in one word : ENLIGHTENING.

Things that seemed so hard and confusing about Japanese before just seem to melt away, when she patiently and methodically teach you the details and nuisances.

If you feel visiting Japan shrines gives you a spiritual experience, then learning Japanese from Kazune brings that same feeling for learning a foreign language. It's simply enlightening.

Respect.

Natsune

Kazune-sensei is a teacher who transforms your passions into the fuel for your learning.
Instead of sticking strictly to conventional textbooks, she customizes her lessons using topics you're actually interested in—such as your favorite YouTube videos, news reports, or articles. By learning through what you love, you’ll naturally acquire "living" Japanese without feeling overwhelmed.
With her professional background in the service industry and university administration, she also offers deep insights into polite business Japanese and Japan's unique workplace culture. Having lived abroad herself as a language learner, she truly understands the struggles of learning a new language. This allows her to proactively support you on the specific points where students often get stuck.
As an incredibly friendly and great listener, Kazune-sensei creates a relaxed environment. She is highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy the process while making steady progress!
