About Anna

Helping people grow is my greatest passion.

I've worked at an English school for children and as a recruitment consultant. As different as these roles were, they shared one core theme: supporting people and companies as they move toward a better future.

Now, as a Japanese tutor, I get to do exactly that — on a global scale. Teaching Japanese lets me connect with people from around the world and be part of their journey.

For me, it's never just about the language. It's about helping people grow and achieve their goals — one lesson at a time

Let's talk a lot! We can enjoy natural conversation about topics you're interested in — and along the way, I'll help you with grammar and more natural Japanese expressions.

"I'm a beginner and just starting to learn Japanese."
No worries! We can use GENKI to build a strong foundation together, step by step.

"I want to have conversations, but I'm not confident with my Japanese yet."
We can combine conversation + one grammar point per lesson — so you'll learn something useful and get to practice it right away in real conversation.

"I want to work in Japan or learn Japanese for business."
I can help with that too! I have professional experience working in in-house recruitment and as a recruitment consultant in Japan. If you're interested in working in Japan, I can help you learn practical business Japanese, understand Japanese business manners and workplace culture, and prepare for job interviews.

In our first lesson, we'll chat about your Japanese level, your goals, and what you'd like to improve. Then together, we'll figure out the best approach for you.

As a language learner myself, I know how challenging — and sometimes frustrating — learning a new language can be. That's why I always aim to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where you feel comfortable making mistakes and enjoy speaking Japanese.
