About Vinicius Gabriel
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from UNICAMP and have specialized training in Japanese from Ryukoku University. My academic and personal journey has always been deeply connected to languages, culture, and the processes involved in language learning.
Over the years, I have developed a particular interest in second-language acquisition and contemporary teaching methods. This has led me to build an approach that combines clear instruction with sensitivity to each student’s individual needs.
I believe that learning a language goes far beyond memorizing grammatical rules. A language also carries ways of thinking, history, culture, and perspectives on the world. For this reason, I aim to create lessons that are both effective and enjoyable, while also being intellectually enriching.
My goal is to help students develop confidence, independence, and naturalness in Japanese, turning the learning process into something consistent, enjoyable, and genuinely meaningful.

Each lesson is planned according to the student’s goals, level, and learning pace. My focus is on developing natural, solid, and functional Japanese by combining clear grammar explanations, communicative practice, and a deeper understanding of how the language works. Lessons progressively integrate conversation, listening comprehension, pronunciation, reading, writing, and vocabulary development.
With a degree in Linguistics from UNICAMP and specialized training in Japanese at Ryukoku University, I aim to make the learning process clear, efficient, and intellectually engaging. My method combines linguistic analysis with exposure to real Japanese through authentic materials such as videos, songs, texts, dialogues, and cultural content.
For beginners, lessons focus on building a strong foundation from the start, especially in pronunciation, writing systems, and understanding the structure of the language. For intermediate and advanced students, lessons can focus on fluency, grammatical refinement, conversation, writing, reading comprehension, and deeper cultural understanding.
Lessons can also be adapted to different goals, including travel, exchange programs, university studies, interviews, professional development, JLPT preparation, or cultural interest.
My goal is to help Japanese become more than just a subject to study and turn it into a living language that students can understand, use, and gradually integrate into their everyday lives.
