About Seren
Hello! I’m a native Korean speaker currently living and working in Korea. I have around five years of tutoring experience and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. Fun fact: I actually used to be a K-pop dancer, so K-pop and dance have been a big part of my life.
I started tutoring because I enjoy helping learners understand not only the Korean language, but also the culture and natural expressions used in everyday life. I’m especially interested in K-pop, Korean dramas, and Korean culture, and I also enjoy K-pop dance in my free time. (I actually used to be a K-pop dancer!)
If you are curious about any part of Korean culture, I’m always happy to explain it and help you learn the related Korean expressions at the same time.
I want my students to feel comfortable speaking Korean without being afraid of making mistakes. My goal is to create friendly, personalized lessons where you can build confidence and enjoy learning Korean at your own pace.

I use real-life expressions, role-play, free conversation, drama dialogues, and K-pop lyrics to make lessons more engaging and useful. I also adjust the lesson pace and materials depending on your Korean level.
Whether you are a complete beginner or want to improve your speaking confidence, I will help you practice natural Korean that you can actually use in real situations.
