About Supeni
Tie dye is a technique for making motifs on the fabric by providing a rope barrier, grass, and ties so that the final result, after dyeing, will appear on the fabric. Shibori comes from Japan. The technique of making motifs on fabrics with various techniques and tools. The current tie dye trend has made fabric manufacturers perform motif tie dye printing, so the results are no longer authentic. Because tie dye and shibori are actually made by hand. It is hoped that after learning about tie dye and shibori, participants will be able to distinguish between handmade tie dye / shibori and print results.
