About Vera

Hello! I’m Vera, a Malaysian tutor with a Bachelor of Information Science and a passion for helping students learn Malay in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual learning styles, goals, and pace. Whether you’re learning Malay for school, work, travel, or everyday communication, I will provide clear explanations, structured lessons, and plenty of opportunities to practice speaking, reading, and writing with confidence.

As a tutor, I am patient, organized, and encouraging. I strive to create a comfortable learning atmosphere where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes, because that’s an important part of learning. My goal is not only to help you improve your Malay skills but also to make every lesson enjoyable and rewarding.

I welcome students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals and making your Malay learning journey both effective and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I believe that learning Malay should be practical, enjoyable, and tailored to each student’s goals. My lessons focus on building confidence through interactive activities, real-life conversations, simple grammar explanations, vocabulary practice, and speaking exercises. I adjust my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace, ensuring every lesson is engaging and easy to follow.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes. Each class includes a quick review of previous topics, introduction to new vocabulary or grammar, guided practice, and interactive activities to reinforce learning. Students also receive helpful tips and optional practice exercises to continue learning outside of class.

I hold a Bachelor of Information Science and have experience teaching primary & secondary school students through tuition classes. I am patient, friendly, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.

My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for school, strengthen your grammar, or learn everyday Malay for work, travel, or daily life, I will customize each lesson to help you achieve your learning goals.
