About Wei
Hi, I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China, now living in Sydney. I completed my master’s degree at the University of Queensland, so I know what it feels like to study and communicate in another language.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them feel more comfortable speaking Mandarin. Whether you are learning for travel, work or personal interest, I’ll listen to your goals and help you practice in a relaxed, supportive environment. I look forward to meeting you!

My online Mandarin lessons are designed around your goals and current level. If you are a beginner, we can start with pinyin, pronunciation and useful everyday phrases. If you already know some Chinese, we can focus on conversation, vocabulary and speaking more naturally.
I use practical topics such as introductions, food, travel and daily life in China. You will have plenty of time to speak, ask questions and practise at a comfortable pace. Before our first lesson, let me know what you would like to learn so I can prepare a lesson that suits you.
