About Daniel

Helping You Master Microsoft Office — Without the Frustration.

I know the struggle — spending hours trying to make a spreadsheet work, formatting a stubborn document, or getting a presentation to look just right. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve learned the tricks, shortcuts, and practical skills to make Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook work for you, not against you.

I’m a full-time firefighter in the UK, but before that, I spent over a decade in office roles across both the public and private sector. Helping people is at the heart of what I do, and now I want to pass on the Microsoft know-how that’s made my own work faster, more efficient, and more professional.

My speciality is Excel. I spent 8 years in data analytics for Suffolk Constabulary and Suffolk County Council, building custom reports, databases, and automated tools for teams across both organisations. I’ve also completed advanced Excel training and can help with:

- Formulas & Functions.
- Cell Formatting & Data Presentation.
- Data Tables & Validation.
- Graphs & Charts.
- Automated Fields.

Whether you need to reformat a spreadsheet, build a project tracker, create a calendar, or turn raw data into a clear, professional chart — I can guide you through it.

About the lesson

My teaching style is relaxed, approachable, and completely tailored to your goals. Whether you want to add engaging animations to a PowerPoint, use Excel formulas to manage your accounts, or automate a data file to instantly show trends and updates — we’ll focus on exactly what you need.

I’ve worked in a Hilton hotel, for Suffolk Constabulary, Suffolk County Council, and now Royal Berkshire Fire & rescue Service. Across all these roles, I’ve learned that professionalism and friendliness go hand in hand, and I bring both to every lesson.

As a self-taught Microsoft user, I know how frustrating it can be to figure things out alone — and how satisfying it is when everything finally clicks. My aim is to get you there faster, with less stress, and with the confidence to use Microsoft tools to their full potential.
