Rachel is a former English student of mine, who I've seen perform in various theater productions. She is energetic, intelligent, and skilled in singing and acting. She is eloquent and a skilled writer and editor. While she was my student, she was in a production of Annie at a respected professional theater. Her mother told me she had the songs memorized before her first rehearsal, and she completed all her homework despite having rehearsals 6 days a week while attending high school. When I later saw the production, she stood out to me as having a beautiful voice and being a skilled actress. Rachel has also been editing e-pub fiction since I taught her over a decade ago, and has kept in contact with me over the years. She's a brilliant student and a kind tutor.
