Jiao Li was one of the teachers in the CELTA course I was a tutor. This is a Cambridge Assessment 120-hour training program for English teachers.
The course was run on an online basis and included live, assessed teaching practice sessions in addition to language awareness and teaching methodology workshops.
Jiao was a diligent trainee teacher and was eager to develop professionally and made good progress in the course. His written assignments were of high standard.
He also has a very pleasant classroom manner and is able to build good rapport with his students. He is adept at motivating and encouraging the learners through good quality presentations and visual
support. He prepared a variety of off-the-shelf and teacher-generated activities and tasks to meet his lesson objectives, and was supportive and helpful when monitoring the students.

Jiao' excellent command of the English language and background in academia make him an excellent choice as a teacher, especially for those with EAP needs. His assignments on our course were of an exceptionally high standard and his eye for detail and passion for language shine through in his work.
