About Yoshi
Yoshihisa Matsue, 55, is a highly accomplished martial artist and an expert with a distinguished career in law enforcement and international cooperation.
A formidable presence in the martial arts world, Yoshi holds a 4th Dan black belt in Nippon Kempo and was the 1993 All-Japan Student Kempo Individual Championship Tournament Gold Medalist. He also holds a 4th Dan black belt in Judo. His leadership in martial arts extends to his former role as the Supervisor (Head Coach) for the Doshisha University Athletic Association Nippon Kempo team.
Beyond the dojo, Yoshi's career spans over 25 years as a dedicated police officer. His expertise led him to serve as a JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) expert in the Indonesia National Police Reform Support Program, contributing significantly to international security and development. He also brings corporate experience from his time at Panasonic in both Taiwan and Japan.
Yoshi's international experience is further underscored by his linguistic abilities, being proficient in Mandarin Chinese (having been stationed in Taiwan for two and a half years) and Indonesian (stationed in Indonesia for two years).

While my primary location is at Bistari Condominium, I am flexible and available to travel to your preferred public space or condominium facility for private sessions.
These classes are perfect for both adults and children who want to build physical strength, discipline, and learn the spirit of Japanese Budo. I also incorporate basic Japanese language and etiquette into my teaching, providing a complete cultural experience. Join me to strengthen your body and mind!

Experience a unique mix of Japanese language and martial arts spirit!
1. Private Sessions at My Location: My standard rate is RM50 per hour for lessons conducted at Bistari Condominium (KL).
2. Travel to Your Location: I am happy to travel to your preferred public space or condominium facility.
Travel Fee: For lessons outside of my location, I will request a travel fee equivalent to the Grab (e-hailing) fare from my place to yours.
This ensures a fair price based on the actual distance and time. Please message me your location for a quick estimate!
3. Group Lessons: If you want to train with friends or family (up to 3 people), I offer a special group rate. Please inquire for details!
4. What's Included:
Native Japanese language coaching.
Practical self-defense and discipline based on Nippon Kempo (4th Dan).
