Learn to Paint Stunning Florals in Acrylic with Teaching Artist Filomena Jack!

I have always enjoyed Filomena’s painting sessions. She encourages students to use their imagination when painting art. She is patient, kind and provides positive feedback to the students. I have learned several painting techniques from Filomena: shading, highlighting, placement of objects, use of a color wheel, how to paint more freely using less dominant hand and/or holding the brush by its end and most importantly to enjoy the process!

Filomena encourages her students to make decisions based upon the lesson while providing several options to choose from. She is friendly and pleasant throughout the lesson, giving guidance and compliments to each student’s project. Filomena is well versed in working with various supplies.

I haven’t stopped sewing since my first class in 2003 with Filomena. I have a few WIP waiting for a rainy day but I’m proud when I finish the projects I start—and there have been many since then.
A patient teacher, an amazing attitude and awesome inspirations! Oh yes and she always has snacks lol! 😇
